Parking a Domain Name at Godaddy

This post explains how to park your domain name at GoDaddy.
A Parked Domain Name means that visitors see a temporary web page when they enter your domain name in a web browser. You can park your domain name to indicate you are reserving it until you create your website, find a hosting provider, or sell the domain name to a third party.

STEP 1 :- Go to At the top of the screen enter your Username/Customer# and Password and click Log In.

STEP 2 :- After logging in, click the My Account button on the top left.

STEP 3 :- Next to Products,Domains, select the green Launch button. You will see the domain details in a new tab.

STEP 4 :- Click the check box to the left of the domain you want to update the nameservers for, then select the Nameservers button, and choose Set Nameservers.

STEP 5 :- Select I want to park my domains and click the OK button.

STEP 6 :- Click the OK button to confirm message.

Congratulations, now you know how to parking your domain name with godaddy!
Once the domain name is parked, please allow up to 24 hours for DNS to propagate and this change to take full effect.
